A project is going fine until the bucket hits rock. A foundation, a trench, a pool, a driveway, it doesn’t matter what you’re digging for. Once you’re into solid rock, a regular excavator bounces off it and the job stalls.

Rock breaking gets you through it. We fit a hydraulic hammer to the excavator and break the rock apart where it sits, then dig it out, so the project can carry on. No explosives, no blasting permits, no clearing the neighbours off the block, just the rock broken down and hauled off.

We clear out the broken rock. Once the rock’s broken down, we dig it out, load it up, and haul the spoil away, so you’re not left with a pile of rubble.

How much does rock breaking cost in Victoria, BC?

A small pocket of rock in a trench is a different job from a whole foundation footprint in bedrock.
